Software Extended software package for system control, for qualitative and quantitative analyses and for report generation

The concept of the spectrometers is as follows:

  • Large sample chamber, also for voluminous samples
  • Focussing of the exciting radiation onto spots of 300 µm or 100 µm (Monocapillaries) or 20 µm (Polycapillary-Lens) for MoK-radiation
  • Continous variation of spot size between 30 and 500 µm with Varispot unit
  • Sample observation with two colour cameras (field of view 15 x 15 mm and 1.5 x 1.5 mm)
  • Precise sample positioning by stepper motors with step sizes of 1.5 µm.
  • Vacuum by oil-free membrane pumps

Implementation of powerful technology
During production of the Eagle µ-Probe state of the art and reliable technology is intergrated:

  • EDAX LEAP+-detectors with very good resolution, sensitive ares of 30 mm² or 80 mm² energy resolution of
  • Timevariable impulsshaping with maximized throughput, pulsshaping using 8 timeconstants
  • EDAX Genesis Systems for qualitative and quantitative analyses
  • Operating system WINDOWSTM–Base ( XP)
  • Vision Programpackage for system control, spectral acquisition and spectral evaluation
  • Quantification with FP and standard-based models

System control by modern PC-technology
System control is realized by modern PC-technology. In addition to the latest WINDOWS XP operating system, a WINDOWS Office package is included.
